Meet Clare From countryside calm to sunlit celebrations
I split my time between the sunshine of South West France and the gentle countryside of Norfolk. Two quite different places but both offer beautiful settings where people gather to celebrate what matters most.
A Life Between Two Places Centred on your story
In France, you'll usually find me in the garden or browsing the local brocantes for vintage treasures (I sell my favourite finds on Etsy when I'm not creating ceremonies). There's something about those sun-soaked afternoons and the slower pace that just feels right.
In Norfolk, I'm out walking the coastal paths with our miniature dachshund and collie – often ending up in a beachside cafe with a warming coffee. The countryside here has a quiet beauty that never gets old.
My husband and I have two grown sons who we love visiting wherever they are. Though when they come home, it's always the dogs who get the first greeting hugs.
How I Came to Celebrancy Turning experience into heartfelt, story-led ceremonies
Where Experience Meets Meaningful Storytelling
Before discovering this work, I spent years in training and development, eventually setting up my own successful training partnership. It involved traveling all over the UK, working with people from all walks of life.
Looking back, I can see how naturally those skills translated to celebrancy. The love of meeting and connecting with new people, shaping a story that resonates, the practical side of preparation and planning and the ease of standing in front of a group and guiding an important moment with confidence and warmth.
I'd always been comfortable leading meaningful experiences, but there was something about ceremonies that felt different. The chance to be part of someone's most important day, not just as an organiser or facilitator, but as the person who gives voice to their love story.
My Ceremony Philosophy A ceremony with meaning, connection, and quiet magic
I believe a ceremony is the essence and heart of your wedding day – the reason everyone's gathered. It is a moment of calm and stillness before the celebrations begin, there's this beautiful pause where you're surrounded by the people who matter most, declaring your love and commitment.
My style is warm, elegant, stylish, joyful, and relaxed. I create ceremonies that balance emotion with joy, significance with ease, meaningful moments with natural flow so that it all feels true.
There's no fixed template to follow, which means incredible freedom. We can honour important traditions, blend two cultures, embrace modern innovative ideas, or create something entirely unique to you. The setting might be a stately chateau or a simple family garden – I love creating ceremonies in both intimate or larger settings.
Why This Work Matters to Me
Every ceremony I create is a privilege. Getting to know couples, understanding their journeys, then standing with them on their wedding day and giving voice to their story – it never stops feeling special.
I love the creative challenge of making each ceremony completely different. I love the collaboration of working with couples to discover what they really want. And I love that moment on the wedding day when everything comes together and you can feel the atmosphere shift as the ceremony begins.
If you're drawn to thoughtful details, beautiful settings, and the idea of a ceremony that feels like an authentic reflection of who you are together, we'll work well together.
Let's Create Your Ceremony
I'd love to hear about what you're planning. Whether you're organizing a destination celebration in France or an English countryside gathering, I'm here to help create something that's entirely, wonderfully you.
